Eternals #7

A new arc begins here, and Esad Ribić's cover sets the tone with quiet, unsettling authority: Thanos sits enthroned in golden armor, his expression cold and composed, while multiple Eternals kneel and slump at his feet in apparent submission. Kieron Gillen, Ribić, and Matthew Wilson bring a brooding, painterly weight to the scene that feels less like a battle and more like an aftermath — which may be the more troubling image of the two. If "Hail Thanos Part 1" is any indication, this creative team is steering the series somewhere genuinely dark.
