“Coeur inquiet”

In "Coeur inquiet," Robert MacGillivray's evocative art brings to life a tense, emotionally charged moment in the lives of Charles and Christiane. When Charles confesses to forging financial records to give Christiane the money she expected, his sudden disappearance and the discovery of a burned body in his car leave her under suspicion. As his brother Gilles steps in with an offer of work, his quiet resolve makes clear he holds Christiane accountable—though the truth behind Charles’s final letter remains shrouded in mystery.
