The collection focuses on the amorous escapades of Zeus, blending classical mythology with modern humor and Kieth's distinctive, expressive artwork. Originally published by DC's Piranha Press imprint in the early 1990s, this trade paperback collects issues #5–8 of the series.
In "The Many Loves of Zeus," Epicurus the Sage is drawn into a mythic mystery when he's asked to uncover why Danae is suddenly so happy—only to find himself face-to-face with the god Zeus, who's made a surprising appearance in her life. With Sam Kieth's striking art and William Messner-Loebs' sharp storytelling, this 1991 DC tale explores the divine origins of a prophecy, as Zeus reveals his own motives to a lineage tied to fate and fear. The cover by Sam Kieth captures the mythic tone, drawing readers into a story where love, power, and destiny collide.
