Empyre #4
In "Empyre [Part Four]," the fate of the galaxy hangs in the balance as Hulkling unleashes the Pyre, a weapon capable of detonating the sun, leaving the heroes reeling. Sent back to Earth by Mur-G'nn, they find themselves in Wiccan’s apartment—only to realize that the Teddy they knew is gone. Meanwhile, Mantis confronts her son, the Cotati leader, in a desperate bid to stop the invasion, but her pleas fall on deaf ears as he takes control of the Hulk. Written by Al Ewing and Dan Slott, with striking art by Valerio Schiti and colors by Marte Gracia, this pivotal issue sees the stakes rise to unimaginable heights. The cover, by Jim Cheung, captures the moment’s intensity.

The heroes on the Kree/Skrull flagship are stunned when Hulkling orders the deployment of the Pyre, a weapon that will detonate the sun. He then orders the heroes removed, and Mur-G'nn sends them back to Earth, specifically to Wiccan's apartment. Elsewhere, Mantis tries reasoning with her son to stop the Cotati invasion, but she is unsuccessful, and he takes control of the Hulk. After hearing what Hulkling plans, Wiccan is convinced that it's not Teddy they are now dealing with.
