Emma Frost #8
The second chapter of the "Mind Games" arc finds a young Emma Frost looking guarded and determined on Greg Horn's beautifully rendered cover, hugging a blue math binder close as autumn leaves swirl around her in the grounds of what appears to be a private school. Other uniformed students mill about in the background, lending a sense of social tension to the scene — this is clearly a world where fitting in is anything but simple. Karl Bollers and Carlo Pagulayan continue their exploration of Emma's formative years, and this issue promises the same sharp character work that makes this series such an engaging read.
