Elvira, Mistress of the Dark #132
In "To Squash an Elvira!", Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, storms onto the set of The Later-Than-Late Show furious over the modernization of classic B-movies—now recast with trendy actors and comedians. When her protest hits a wall, she’s unexpectedly shrunk to action-figure size, forcing her to battle the sinister computer system run by the scheming Don and Deanna Dynamo. Written by Frank Strom and illustrated by Ronn Sutton with inks by Bill Anderson and letters by Thom Zahler, this 2004 Claypool Comics standout features a wild, campy showdown with a cover by David Goldner.
