In "Peneca y Sus Travesuras," a 1954 Zig-Zag comic, the ever-observant Peneca sets out to lure his stray cat home with a fresh dish of milk—only to be startled by a radio broadcast about a lion on the loose. With the feline still missing and the big cat now standing just outside his door, Peneca and his wayward pet must make a quick escape up a telephone pole, clinging to safety as the danger looms below. A self-contained tale from writer-artist Nato, with every aspect of the story and cover drawn, inked, colored, and lettered by the same hand.

Peneca carefully placed a fresh dish of milk outside his backdoor, hoping to entice his stray cat to return home. But just as he was about to head back inside, he tuned into the radio and received a shocking update: a lion had escaped from the local zoo. His heart racing, Peneca cautiously approached his backdoor, and his worst fears were confirmed - the lion was now standing mere feet away. Peneca and his cat were forced to scramble up a telephone pole and wait anxiously for the lion to wander off.
