# Egbert #2 Synopsis Picklefoot the character, inspired by reading a fairy tale, plants a magic bean stalk seedling and watches it grow to enormous proportions. When a mysterious figure arrives claiming to be a better man than Picklefoot, the two engage in a duel with guns to settle the dispute. After being shot and knocked around during their confrontation, Picklefoot pursues his rival, who attempts to hide in a cave to escape. A large bear emerges from the cave and chases Picklefoot away, ending the story.
