Egbert #15

Egbert encounters a con artist posing as a wealthy count who attempts to fleece him out of money through various schemes, including a fake moving company job and promises of wealth. After Egbert is tricked into giving the count money and helping him with groceries, the count uses "instant personal magnetism" as another scam to attract more victims. Egbert eventually discovers the con and learns the count's secret hideout is behind a cackle-berry (egg) board, suggesting he will expose the scheme.
