Dell's 1948 run of Edgar Rice Burroughs's Tarzan continues with issue #6, bringing "The Outlaws of Pal-Ul-Don" to the comics page. Jesse Marsh's cover captures a remarkably serene yet charged moment: Tarzan reaches skyward toward a large bird of prey descending to his outstretched hand, while a woman in blue and a young boy look on with wide-eyed wonder against a jungle backdrop. It's a cover that balances the wild and the tender in equal measure, and at a dime, Gaylord Du Bois and Marsh's collaboration was hard to pass up.
