A Waziri girl is kidnapped. Tarzan follows her trail and comes to the city of Arrak. He finds that the girl was taken by a giant spider that serves the Arrakan queen, Mataha. Mataha forces Tarzan to fight for his life against her greatest fighters and then attempts to sacrifice Tarzan and the girl to a crocodile worshiped by the Arrakans. Tarzan kills the crocodile and escapes with the girl and returns her to the Waziri.
