Eagle #1

The Eagle #1 is an anthology featuring multiple adventure stories. "The Eagle" (main story) depicts the patriotic superhero battling Nazi forces to save America, as shown on the cover with the masked hero in blue fighting enemy soldiers. A tragic romance subplot involves a young woman visiting her brother, who has been poisoned, in the hospital, and a man in military garb promising to help her see him despite regulations. Additional stories include "Beneath the Water," featuring two sailors named Spark and Chuck who encounter sharks and manage to radio the Coast Guard for rescue before enjoying peaceful sailing.
