In "Bum Steer!", a group of humans finds themselves imprisoned on an alien world where their captors—grotesque, horse-like beings—force them to eat endlessly, treating them like livestock. When a cowboy among them warns his companions of their grim fate, they dismiss him—until they’re suddenly herded into a sealed room, realizing too late that his fear was no idle warning.
