In "Escape Velocity," Sergeant Elanian Daro and Private Pomru Purrrwakawaka join Anda Warren, Alexander Patton Price, and General Sergi Ippolitov as they hunker down in a crumbling bunker, the planet Fergusson collapsing around them as a cataclysmic explosion transforms it into a star. With the world ending and communications severed, the group fights to stay alive and send a signal through the chaos—hope hanging on a single, desperate transmission.
