Durango Kid #21

The Durango Kid confronts a mysterious killer of exceptional strength who has been murdering men connected to a traveling circus and robbing them, leaving only a drainpipe as a clue. When a telegraph is sent to alert all nearby towns, the sheriff and the Kid discover that the killer is somehow linked to the circus and develop a plan involving the railroad to trap the rustlers. The Durango Kid goes undercover disguised as "the Fox," infiltrating a rendezvous at the Wild Boar Inn, where he encounters Linda La Blanche and discovers that the criminal mastermind is actually Major Sylvester, chief of British counter-intelligence, operating under the alias "the Fox."
