The Dutch-language album Durango #13 – Zonder Genade ("Without Mercy") brings Yves Swolfs' gritty Western series to Arboris readers in 1998, with Swolfs handling both story and art throughout. The cover, also fully rendered by Swolfs, places the weathered, long-haired gunslinger Durango astride his horse against a dramatic backdrop of sun-scorched red rock formations — his shadowed eyes and steady grip on the reins projecting exactly the kind of hard-edged resolve the title promises. It's a beautifully painted portrait of a lone rider who looks entirely at home in a landscape that offers no quarter.
