The fifth issue of IDW's Dungeons & Dragons: Forgotten Realms closes out its opening arc with a cover by Tyler Walpole that sets a tense, atmospheric tone — a dark-haired figure in a long coat crouches low, a dagger in each hand, while glowing green spectral undead loom from the cavern shadows behind him. It's a beautifully rendered scene that captures the Forgotten Realms at its most dangerous and moody, with the hero clearly outnumbered but far from beaten.
