The Dune: House Corrino comic series was announced by BOOM! Studios in late 2023, timed deliberately to coincide with the theatrical release of Dune: Part Two in March 2024. The series was written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson — the original co-authors of the 2001 novel on which it is based — marking the first comic adaptation of that specific novel. The lead artist for the series was Simone Ragazzoni, with colorist Dan Jackson and letterer Ed Dukeshire; however, interior artist Andrea Scalmazzi stepped in for the final issues of the run, including issue #8, while Ragazzoni remained associated with cover duties and earlier chapters. The series ran as an eight-issue limited series, with each issue formatted as an oversized 33–36-page periodical rated Mature.
