The comic adaptation of Dune: House Corrino was announced by BOOM! Studios in early 2024 and launched in March of that year, timed alongside the theatrical release of Denis Villeneuve's Dune: Part Two. The series was written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson — the same authors who wrote the original 2001 novel, which debuted at #8 on The New York Times Best Seller list — making this adaptation unusually faithful in creative lineage. By issue #6, interior art duties had transitioned from series-opener artist Simone Ragazzoni to Andrea Scalmazzi, while colorist Dan Jackson and letterer Ed Dukeshire remained consistent across the run; this mid-series artist shift is reflected in the trades collecting issues #4–6 and #6–8, both of which credit Ragazzoni and Scalmazzi jointly.
