Dudley Datson and the Forever Machine #3

A young boy and his small dog stand on a rooftop, dwarfed by a massive, curved alien claw descending from a smoky sky — it's a striking image of ordinary courage facing something enormous. Scott Snyder and Jamal Igle's Dark Horse series continues to blend wide-eyed adventure with genuine scale, and Igle's cover art here does a wonderful job of making the threat feel truly monumental. If this third issue keeps the momentum of what came before, fans of all-ages sci-fi adventure are in for a treat.
