Dreadful Ed and Mary Scary #[nn]

Two wide-eyed, peculiar children — Dreadful Ed and Mary Scary — stare out from a cover teeming with snakes, frogs, and all manner of strange creatures crawling around and between them, rendered in Troy Nixey's wonderfully grotesque detail. The deep crimson border and ornate lettering give the whole package a delightfully macabre storybook feel that's equal parts unsettling and charming. Andrew Cosby and Jeromy Cox round out the creative team on this Dark Horse offering that promises something refreshingly offbeat.
