Donjon Monsters #3
"La carte majeure" in Donjon Monsters #3 (2002, Delcourt) finds Marvin Rouge on a fractured world of scattered isles, tasked by the shaman Orlondow to claim an ancient map drawn by the lost mages of Divinascopus. As he ventures through perilous terrain, Marvin faces off against the tiny king of the Olfs, the Grand Khân and his army, all while navigating the simmering jealousy of Nicole and Zakûtu. Written by Joann Sfar and Lewis Trondheim and illustrated by Andreas—pencils, inks, and lettering—this surreal adventure unfolds with a mix of whimsy and tension, its distinctive style brought to life on a cover also by Andreas.
