Donald får sparken fra Tikk Takk Klokkefabrikk siden han alltid kommer for sent på jobb. Et doktorbesøk avslører at Donald er allergisk mot kjedsomhet. For å holde seg våken, må han gjøre spennende ting som surfing i farvann med hai, fallskjermhopping og rodeo. Et livsfarlig vågestykke på ski kurerer imidlertid all lyst på spenning og han får seg så jobb som måldommer i Andeby snegleklubb.
