Donald Duck & Co #8/1970
"Skufferhullet" sees Mikke on a mission to save Minnis antique teacup, now broken, by tracking down the last remaining example in Liverpool. With Captain Kirkemus’s ship seized mid-voyage, Mikke must outwit the ever-present Svarte-Petter, whose latest scheme threatens to derail the quest before it begins. Written by Vivi Aagaard and illustrated by Paul Murry, with a cover by Nils Rydahl, this 1970 Norwegian edition delivers classic Disney chaos with a distinctly Scandinavian flair.
In "Bitte-B-Jentene," the Beagle Brats hand over their mischief to a trio of new arrivals: the Beagle Babes—tiny, blonde, bow-adorned Beagle girls in pink polka-dot dresses, masked in black and ready to take on the town’s pranks. With their arrival, the usual chaos shifts, and the streets of Duckburg find themselves under the playful, pink-dotted rule of these unexpected troublemakers.
When Minnis antique teacup shatters, Mikke vows to find her a replacement—only one known example remains, in Liverpool. His plan to enlist Captain Kirkemus goes awry when the captain’s ship is hijacked, and once again, the shadow of Svarte-Petter looms over the chaos.
