Donald Duck & Co #12/1972
In "Kjæledegge-avtale," Donald Duck embarks on an absurdly ambitious plan to turn the quiet town of Solstad [Fredly] into a giant henhouse, complete with a thousand hens and a full-scale paint job in tar and feathers. When a sudden earthquake floods the town with a million eggs, chaos ensues—forcing Donald to confront the consequences of his poultry obsession, even as the townspeople scramble to save their homes. Written by Carl Barks and Vivi Aagaard, with art and inks by Barks, and featuring a wild cover by Larry Mayer, this 1972 Egmont release is a classic example of Scandinavian Disney comic whimsy at its most gloriously ridiculous.
