“Be With Me”

Polaris dominates this September 1994 cover, her wild green hair billowing against a swirling red energy field as she surges forward with fierce determination — cover art pencilled and inked by Mark Buckingham. Opposite her, a darkly costumed figure (hinted by the cover blurb to be Forge) swoops in from the lower right, green energy crackling between them. The promise of X-Factor's Polaris and Forge going "at odds with" the Sorcerer Supreme makes this a compelling crossover chapter from David Quinn and David Brewer's run on the series.
