A massive, imposing bald figure in a white coat holds a glowing mystical instrument as arcane energy crackles around his hand, while a bearded man armed with a rifle stands ready at his side — all of it set against a city being torn apart by monstrous, writhing tentacles. The pairing of street-level firepower with what appears to be otherworldly sorcery makes for a genuinely striking cover composition, rendered with impressive weight and atmosphere by Niko Henrichon. Dennis Hopeless and Henrichon's 2017 run continues to blend the gritty and the supernatural in ways that feel fresh for the Sorcerer Supreme's corner of the Marvel Universe.
