Django / Zorro #3

The co-publishing partnership between Dynamite and Vertigo keeps delivering with this third chapter of the Quentin Tarantino and Matt Wagner collaboration. Jae Lee's cover is a beautifully moody piece, framed by moonlit stone as a rifle-armed Django looms in close-up from the shadows while Zorro — caped and sword in hand — faces him from below against a cool blue night sky. It's a striking composition that captures the electric tension between two of fiction's most compelling gunslingers-meets-swashbucklers, making this one hard to pass up.
