Soo Lee takes on writing, art, inks, and colors for this fourth chapter in Dynamite's 2023 Disney Villains: Maleficent series, a real showcase of singular creative vision. The cover by Jae Lee is genuinely striking — Maleficent stands composed and imperious in her purple robes, staff in hand, while a massive thorn-wrapped creature looms behind her, an armored figure clutching a dagger embedded within its gnarled form. There's a wonderful tension in that contrast between her cool, almost serene expression and the chaos erupting at her back.
