Together, they journey through treacherous lands, seeking the legendary Star of Khorala—a magical ring said to hold untold power—unaware of the dangers that lie ahead.

In "Ein verratenes Volk," Salome, disguised as Taramis, commands the Khauran army to surrender to Constantius and his forces, but Conan stands defiant, refusing to obey. As the army is slaughtered and Conan captured, the city teeters on the edge of betrayal and bloodshed.
