Two crooks take Sam from the Mushroom House with the intent of it being his last ride. Tracy uses his wrist radio to notify the chief that Sam has been taken. Sam's kidnappers are killed in a shootout, but the car plunges into the river and Sam is trapped under the ice. It takes several minutes, but Sam is finally freed and taken to the hospital where he's treated for exposure. Tracy tricks his way out of what was supposed to be his death chamber. The other cops arrive and help him capture the lady in charge. Tracy keeps her from burning a packet of letters. Mr. Crime is concerned.
