While Gravel Gertie and Sparkle lament the loss of B. O., Tracy and Sam trace the gun that killed Talcum Freely to orchestra leader Spike Dyke, who points them to eound engineer Sketch Paree. The trail leads to an abandoned ice house, where Sam unwittingly grabs a live electric wire. The shock knocks him into the river, and Tracy has no idea where Sam has gone.
