Sparkle and Wingy try to save their wading pool but are caught in the fllodwaters and carried downstream. A snag punctures their pool, and they begin to sink as it loses air. When all seems lost, they are rescued by Rainbow Riley, a blind girl who carries them back to her house which is being carried downstream by the flood. As this is happening, Tracy and Sam rescue B. O. and Gravel Gertie from the roof of their house. They tell Tracy that Sparkle and Wingy were carried away by the flood. Meanwhile, Rainbow does her best to see that the three of them survive.
