Part of DC's New 52 line, Dial H #9 brings China Miéville's strange, unpredictable superhero series to a genuinely unsettling place — and Brian Bolland's cover makes that crystal clear. A figure in a sharp business suit dominates the image, its insectoid head bristling with antennae and compound eyes, multiple arms fanning out around it — one clutching a pistol, another holding a rotary dial — all rendered with Bolland's characteristically meticulous linework.
