Dexter Down Under #3

Dalibor Talajić illustrates Jeff Lindsay's fan-favorite serial killer in this 2014 Marvel miniseries, and Michael Del Mundo's cover sets the tone perfectly: Dexter stands in a sun-dappled clearing, casually clutching a dripping, bloodied bag — while an enormous crocodile looms overhead, jaws wide open and glistening, with a "WARNING: DO NOT FEED THE CROCODILES" sign visible nearby. It's a darkly playful image that captures everything you'd want from a Dexter story transplanted to the Australian wilderness — deadpan menace, grim humor, and a strong suggestion that Dexter may not be the most dangerous predator in the picture.
