This volume collects the first chapters of the manga series Detroit Metal City, following the story of Soichi Negishi, a mild-mannered aspiring pop musician who is forced to front the extreme death metal band Detroit Metal City. The series, created by Kiminori Wakasugi, is a dark comedy that contrasts Negishi's gentle personality with his onstage persona as the demonic lead singer Johannes Krauser II. This Italian edition from RW Edizioni marks the beginning of the cult-favorite manga's publication in Italy.
