Der unglaubliche Hulk #30
In "Countdown, Teil 1: Abomination," scientist Phil Stearns sets a deadly trap for Bruce Banner, dosing him with a poison that will kill in sixteen hours—though Banner remains unaware. When Abomination arrives at the nuclear testing facility, he finds only the powerless janitor and, in a moment of arrogance, blasts him with gamma radiation, triggering a daytime transformation into the Hulk. The resulting fight turns disastrous for Abomination as the enraged Hulk unleashes a torrent of toxic chemicals, leaving him horribly disfigured. But as the battle rages, the Hulk begins to falter—his body weakening from Stearns' poison, his heart under unbearable strain.
In "Countdown, Teil 2: Die Fantastischen Vier," the Hulk journeys to Phoenix seeking help from Mr. Fantastic to understand his worsening condition—only to clash with Ms. Marvel, whom he misidentifies as a deranged Thing. Meanwhile, Doc Samson tracks the Hulk to Yucca Flats, where tensions rise before a crucial medical assessment reveals a grim truth: the Hulk's radiation poisoning will prove fatal when he reverts to Bruce Banner at sunrise.
In "Countdown, Teil 3: Der Leader," the Hulk is drawn into a deadly game of manipulation when the Leader offers a clue to an antidote for his condition—and the whereabouts of Betty Banner—if he will eliminate Madman on command. With the Riot Squad closing in and old enemies circling, the Hulk must navigate treachery and his own rage, knowing every move could bring him closer to salvation—or deeper into chaos.
In "Countdown, Teil 4: Madman," the weakened Hulk is sent by the Leader to confront Madman—revealed to be his brother, Phil Stearns—amid a race against time as the poison in his veins threatens to end him. With seconds left and his body failing, the Hulk must face not only Madman’s violent alter egos but also the desperate, crumbling man behind them, as the line between enemy and brother begins to blur.
In "Verdammt in alle Ewigkeit," the Master of the World unleashes a twisted scheme that forces Puck and Namor into a deadly confrontation, revealing the shocking truth behind Marrina’s alien origins. As the heroes race to stop him, personal demons rise—Wolverine visits Heather in the hospital, and Marrina grapples with a legacy she never asked for, leaving her to face a future no one can predict.
In "Träume sterben schwer," Heather McNeil Hudson steps into leadership of Alpha Flight, her resolve tested as she grapples with the weight of legacy and the echoes of past conflicts. With Aurora reshaping her abilities and appearance, the team stands at a crossroads—facing not just external threats, but the lingering shadows of their own histories.
In "Wie lange dauert es, bis das Vergessen einsetzt?", Heather Hudson takes tentative steps to reunite Alpha Flight, bringing together a fractured team at a moment of quiet tension. As Shaman faces off against the formidable Ranaq, he finds himself awed by his daughter Elizabeth’s emerging magical strength—her power rising in the heat of battle, a revelation that lingers long after the fight ends.
