In "Avalanche!", the city of Los Angeles teeters on chaos as the villain Avalanche unleashes his destructive fury at the airport, threatening to hold the metropolis hostage. With Rick Jones and Betty Ross among the passengers on a downed plane, the Hulk answers the call, stepping in as a mysterious underground force—linked to the Mole Man’s forgotten realm—also tries to stop the mayhem.
