Der Rote Korsar #[1]
In "Der Teufel der Karibik," the Red Corsair takes a young boy named Rick under his wing after seizing him from a Spanish brig, raising him alongside his loyal crewmates Dreifuss and Baba. As Rick grows, the Red Corsair’s obsession with shaping his "son" leads him to abduct teachers to educate him—setting the stage for a story rooted in isolation, legacy, and the blurred lines between father and pirate. Written by Jean-Michel Charlier, Hartmut Becker, and Paul Derouet, with art by Victor Hubinon and inks by Eddy Paape, the issue features a striking cover by Yves Thos.
