Deathstroke #56
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeChapter two of "Night of the Karrion" arrives with a cover by Dave Johnson and John Beatty that practically leaps off the rack — Deathstroke's armored, half-skull visage fills the right side of the image, while a snarling, decaying creature lunges forward from the left, jaws wide and eyes blazing against an eerie green background. The tension between the mercenary's cool, mechanical menace and the feral horror of his adversary sets a genuinely unsettling tone for this 1996 mid-arc chapter. With Marv Wolfman at the helm and interior art from Mike Huddleston and Curt Shoultz, this is mid-'90s DC doing its darker, grittier work with real conviction.
