Deathstroke is down — bloodied and barely holding himself off the ground — while the members of his Defiance team look on in stunned disbelief around him on Ryan Sook's striking cover to issue #23. A mysterious silver-haired figure stands with her back turned at the center of it all, and the tagline "Like Father, Like Daughter!" hints at a deeply personal rift driving the drama. Christopher Priest's run has been one of the sharpest takes on Slade Wilson in years, and with art by Diógenes Neves this November 2017 chapter looks poised to deliver something genuinely unsettling for the whole Defiance crew.
