Deathstroke #16
Deathstroke #16 puts the tension front and center — literally — as Deathstroke and Red Hood press their masked faces inches apart in a tense, blood-spattered standoff, both armed and neither backing down beneath a moonlit sky. The cover tagline "Face Off with Red Hood" says it all, and Tyler Kirkham's cover art delivers with striking detail, from the cracked visor on Red Hood's helmet to the cool menace radiating from Slade's half-orange mask. With James Bonny writing, Paolo Pantalena on art, and Arif Prianto's vivid colors, this May 2016 issue looks like a genuinely hard-edged clash between two of DC's most dangerous fighters.
