Mid-series intensity from Image's 1995 run, and this cover delivers it without reservation — a battered, grimacing Deathblow charges forward through a sickly green-lit industrial chamber, pistol raised and gear slicked with whatever hellish substance coats the pipes and containers around him. The wraparound sense of environmental dread, rendered through Trevor Scott's pencils and inks, makes the setting feel almost alive and hostile in its own right. With Brandon Choi writing and Duncan Rouleau on interior art, this is gritty covert-ops storytelling at a hard-charging pace.
