# Death Valley #7 This issue contains two Western stories. In the main story "Death Valley," a man named Tom leads a railroad crew working to meet a tight deadline, but a mysterious "dry gulcher" begins ambushing workers. When Tom pursues the culprit, he discovers the killer is connected to Trigger Bronson, a man to whom the world owes thanks for preventing an ambush years earlier. A comedic subplot follows a gypsy musician attempting to romance a woman named Gypsy Sweetheart, only to be repeatedly thwarted by her guardian Old Smokey's rope tricks and her own dismissive attitude toward his musical aspirations.
