Death of Wolverine: The Weapon X Program #4

Part of Marvel's 2015 "Death of Wolverine" event, this penultimate chapter of The Weapon X Program carries a quietly unsettling cover by Salvador Larroca: a dark-haired woman surveys a facility courtyard from an elevated railing, where rows of shrouded bodies lie arranged below and armed guards stand watch. The bird's-eye composition gives the whole scene a cold, clinical weight that fits the series' themes of experimentation and control perfectly. Charles Soule's script, brought to life by Angel Unzueta with inks from Marc Deering and Juan Vlasco and colors by Frank D'Armata, promises more tense storytelling as this arc heads toward its conclusion.
