From Gary Whitta and Ted Naifeh comes this second issue of the darkly charming Image series, its cover by Rhode Montijo putting the skull-helmeted, scythe-toting Death Jr. front and center alongside a grinning, red-skinned demonic figure lurking just behind him. The pairing of the small, oddly endearing protagonist against that leering monster gives the cover a wonderfully off-kilter tone — spooky-cute with just enough menace to keep things interesting.
