Deadpool v Gambit #5

The finale of Deadpool v Gambit — where "the V is for Vs." — goes out with a flair, and Kevin Wada's cover captures the tension perfectly: a battered, grinning Deadpool looms over an upside-down Gambit, gripping the Cajun's coat lapels against a chain-link fence backdrop that reads "No Soliciting, No Loitering." Both men look roughed up but still smirking, which tells you everything you need to know about the tone of this odd-couple mini-series. Wada's loose, painterly style gives the whole scene a surprisingly elegant quality for what is, at its core, two fan-favorite Marvel antiheroes absolutely done with each other's nonsense.
