The mismatched duo of Deadpool and Gambit take center stage on this wonderfully off-kilter cover by Kevin Wada, where a red-eyed, trench-coated Gambit looks decidedly unamused while Deadpool looms behind him mid-swing with a frying pan — all of it unfolding on what appears to be a picnic blanket. Wada's warm, illustrative style gives the whole scene a deceptively breezy charm that perfectly captures the comedic tension baked into this 2016 limited series.
