Deadpool Team-Up #1
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis collection brings together the 2010 'Deadpool Team-Up' miniseries, written and illustrated by Rob Liefeld. The Merc with a Mouth joins forces with an unlikely assortment of Marvel's supernatural and street-level heroes, including Ghost Riders Johnny Blaze and Daniel Ketch, the Hulk, Wolverine, and the Punisher, to face threats like the cosmic entity Xemnu and the villainous Arcade. It's a high-octane, Liefeld-style romp that mixes Deadpool's trademark chaos with monster-mash action.
In "Merc with a Myth," Deadpool—still mid-dig for a mob goon’s head—gets buried alive by mysterious attackers, only to claw his way out and track them down: the flamboyant Zapata brothers, devoted fans who never realized they’d just buried the man they idolize. With a shared enemy looming and a wild mix of chaos and camaraderie, the trio forms an unlikely alliance to uncover the truth behind the ambush. Written by Mike Benson and illustrated by Carlo Barberi, with inks by Juan Vlasco, colors by Marte Gracia, and letters by VC's Joe Sabino, the cover by Humberto Ramos captures the issue’s irreverent flair.
