Deadpool and Madcap stand together between two massive trees, each holding a sign — one reading "Madcap Season," the other "Deadpool Season" — in a playful nod to classic cartoon rivalries, all while an absurd arsenal of guns, blades, and weapons closes in on them from every direction. Tradd Moore's cover perfectly captures the anarchic energy of pairing Marvel's Merc with a Mouth alongside the equally unhinged Madcap, rendered in a wonderfully loose, stylized line. Written by Ben Acker and Ben Blacker with interior art by Evan "Doc" Shaner, this 2014 annual promises the kind of chaotic, self-aware fun that only Deadpool can deliver.
